Can I use Spotify in my salon?

No. Spotify names salons explicitly as an example of commercial use that is not allowed. BackSound Stream is licensed for businesses. The Buma/Stemra and Sena performance licence is yours to arrange via mijnlicentie.nl.

Can the treatment room have different music from the salon?

Yes. Every room is its own zone with its own list and volume, from one player, also via Sonos.

What if the internet drops?

The player keeps going on 400 locally stored tracks, well over a day. A haircut in silence is not necessary.

Can I bring my own Spotify playlists?

With STREAM PRO you import them one to one. The atmosphere your clients know from you stays, only now covered for commercial use instead of through a private subscription.

Who installs the speakers?

We do, with our own engineers. Usually that is a couple of ceiling speakers and a small amplifier; we look at the room and make sure it is even throughout rather than loud at the basin and quiet at the back.

What if something breaks?

You call and get a person, weekends included. We look in remotely and come out if needed; hardware and the call-out charge fall under service and maintenance.
