Can I use Spotify in my bar?

No. Spotify prohibits use in commercial venues and names bars explicitly. BackSound Stream is licensed for business use. Every bar also needs a Buma/Stemra and Sena performance licence via mijnlicentie.nl.

Can guests pick songs without it getting out of hand?

Yes. Guests request with the Request App, and you decide whether that queues automatically or is approved by your team first. Requests that do not fit, you decline with one tap.

Can I combine a DJ night with the player?

Yes. The player runs until the DJ starts and takes over again afterwards, scheduled or with one tap from your phone.

What if the internet is down on a Friday night?

400 tracks are stored on the player, more than enough for the whole evening. The music carries on and the atmosphere holds.

Can my bar staff control the music?

Yes. Signed in to the player on their own phone, they handle volume, skipping and switching playlists. No laptop behind the bar, and you decide who may.

Can I use my own Spotify playlists?

With STREAM PRO you import them one to one. What you already played stays, but covered for commercial use — a private subscription is not.

What does it cost for a bar with a smoking room and a terrace?

That is three rooms and they fall within one subscription: up to eight rooms from a single player, STREAM PRO at € 29.95 a month billed yearly. Each room keeps its own playlist and volume.
